The webcomic formerly known as Alphabet Horror Vacui is now Alphabet Apocrypha. The old url still works, but you may change your bookmark to AlphabetApocrypha.com for a sense of consistency.
This wasn’t a change I had to agonize pulling the trigger over. “Horror Vacui” was a bum name for many reasons, the most glaringly being that almost none of the art was horror vacui. Alphabet Apocrypha is not only more descriptive, it’s alliterative, and I feet quite comfy with the new title. Letter P is inked, and no work so I’m painting today & updates will resume.
Also: I’m on Facebook now & you should follow for updates and gems like this:

(it ain’t hard to tell)
You are cordially invited to read the Letter O.
I am back! Apologies for the long radio silence. These past few months have been very chaotic, with a new day job & many hours at work, an illustration commission, finishing an Alphabet Horror Vacui piece, followed by two comic festivals.
The first was FLUKE! in Athens, GA. I mentioned it in an earlier post, but it really is something special. The dudes who run it, Robert & Patrick, are super stand up dudes for making it happen. Also I met Joshua Ray Stephens and have been staring at his rad book since.
Would have purchased more, but it was immediately off to New York City for MOCCA Fest. This was my first year at the event and I was really struck by the caliber of talent in the room. But it is NYC, so I guess I should expect to see a surplus of good artists. Again I wish I had money to burn, but I met many cool individuals as well as the same folks that always seem to turn up at these events. And I got some very exciting business cards.
So I am back & getting to work on the next letter of the alphabet. Stay tuned!
1. ALPHABET HORROR VACUI got a facelift! Check it out. It even has a favicon now.
2. AND it now has a Facebook page, completing the social media spread. I’ll be giving away free stuff to followers in the near future. (I will announce details as I figure them out.) So help spread the good word and potentially win some fine art like this:

The Small Press Expo posted the exhibitor list! Take a gander and come see me in September.
